State Rep. Jeremie Dufault of Selah will get a different view of the playing field when he and more than two dozen soldiers will be on the field during the Seahawks ‘Salute to Service’ at the November 3 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
A news release says the event is part of the NFL'S annual Military Appreciation Day celebration. Every stadium in America will feature a similar event. Team members will be wearing camo apparel on the sidelines.
Dufault, a Major iin the U.S. Army Reserves says he's glad to be a part of the special tribute calling it an honor and a privilege.
The release says "Dufault and other Soldiers from his unit – the 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) based in Marysville, WA – will be present, including Brigadier General Vincent Buggs.
 
Dufault served in Kuwait and Afghanistan and is currently a military JAG Corps lawyer. He represents the state’s 15th Legislative District, which encompasses the eastern half of Yakima County"
