Searching For A Great Time? The Greenway Scavenger Hunt Beckons!

It's the kind of thing you see all the time.  A community jewel, a city treasure that has been around long enough that, despite strong volunteer and corporate support, some folks may start to take it for granted or haven't kept up with the changes and perhaps don't realize what all the hometown entity has to offer.

In an effort to head that off as well as continuing to provide more of the everyday Greenway kinda fun, the Yakima Greenway kicks off its first-ever Family Fun Fest  & week-long SCAVENGER HUNT with a day of family entertainment this Saturday, September 4th at Sarg Hubbard Park.

Up first...from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM enjoy the music of  Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys.  The group has been "voted Yakima's Best Band for the past 3 years in a row, performing a blend of Acoustic, Indy Rock, Pop, Country, Folk, and R&B.

Then sister Town Square Media  DJ and all-around awesome broadcast professional Sarah J does her 107.3 KFFM thing  LIVE on location and she's anxious to meet all her fans at Sarg Hubbard Park.

Here's hoping for clearer skies and fresh air this Saturday for family fun at the Greenway... and don't forget about the newly constructed playground!  It's a work of art strong enough for the hard-core climbers, swingers, and players!
