It has been a week since an 18-year-old man, who is believed to have fallen into the Roza Canal, was last seen.

This past Wednesday, canal workers saw clothes in the water and called police. The search has led investigators to a siphon, less than three miles from where a body was believed to have been seen in the water, but investigators say it is just a guess.

Cadaver dogs will be brought out later today to see if they can find a scent or trace of the young man. Officials are hoping to bring some closure to a difficult search.

Yakima County Search and Rescue has alerted Benton County to keep an eye out for anything unusual in the Roza Canal. The Yakima Sheriff's Office says it can be very dangerous. They normally have at least one search and rescue per year in the canal.

The 18-year-old has not been identified.
