Roza Canal Search Continues for Missing Teen

The search of the Roza Canal continues today for the body of an 18-year-old man from Selah.

Sgt. George Town with the Yakima County Sheriff's Office says so far they have not been able to locate the body.

The 18-year-old has not been seen since last week, when authorities say they believe he may have slipped into the Roza Canal. And they have little evidence as to where the man’s body may be located.

We could be in the area where the body is located, but we can’t see him.

Yakima County Search and Rescue has alerted Benton County to keep an eye out for anything unusual in the Roza Canal.
