With the Seattle Seahawks training camp not yet a week old, the typical comings and goings of players is under way.

Head Coach Pete Carroll and General Manager John Schneider are constantly looking to make the Seahawks roster more competitive. Yesterday, the team released wide receiver Justin Veltung, a Puyallup native who played college ball at Idaho. In his place, Seattle signed Louisiana Tech running back Ray Holley.  With several backs and receivers dinged up with nagging injuries, the Seahawks will give Holley a look.

Here's a look at Holley last year in action against Texas A & M.

Today, the Seahawks claimed linebacker O'Brien Schofieled off of waviers from the Arizon Cardinals. He was a fourth-round pick by the Cardinals in 2010 and started nine games at outside linebacker in 2012. Schofield had 36 tackles and four sacks in those nine games before an ankle injury ended his season.

Seattle released offensive tackle Jake Bscherer to clear a roster spot.
