While the Seattle Seahawks are climbing to the heights of the National Football League, the symbol of their fans' pride recently made a trek up the world's highest mountain.

Chris Hansen, the hedge fund manager who has been working to bring an NBA franchise and new arena to Seattle recently went on a team building trip to climb Mt. Everest. While Hansen did not achieve the world's tallest peak's summit, he did carry a Seattle Seahawks 12th man flag to a climbing base camp, where he displayed it and recorded the moment for Seattle fans around the world.
