Thousands of drivers will be heading over Snoqualmie Pass this weekend for a number of events across the state. Due to this surge in early morning traffic, the closure scheduled for Saturday morning, Sept. 22, is cancelled.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews are currently evaluating when the next best day a time will be to close the pass for rock removal. WSDOT is looking into potentially closing Sunday morning, Sept. 23.
