The House of Representatives of the Washington State Legislature has and still holds a narrow democrat majority,  That means a lot of crazy liberal ideas and approaches to government have made their way to the Senate where an equally narrow republican majority has been able to keep them at bay.  That ended at noon today.

Now that democrats are in control what happens to the McCleary education fix, the property tax realignment, the Hirst Water Rights legislation and more?

And what will life be like for Eastern Washington republicans trying to represent the needs and wishes of their constituents who see the world quite differently than west side liberals?

Tuesday at 7:40am on the Morning News we'll talk with 15th District State Representative Dave Taylor about the new session and about what he expects to see now that the democrats control both houses and the Governor's office.  We hope you'll join us.
