Police Say Drug Deal May Have Proceeded Car Jacking

Yakima Police are looking for suspects who stole a car at gunpoint in the 16 hundred block of Tieton just before 11 last night. Authorities say three people were sitting in the car when they were confronted by 2 hispanic males. One of the suspects pointed a handgun and robbed the 3 of wallets and cell phones. The three, including the vehicle owner were told to run away. Police say more details about the robbery will be released soon. They say this incident was NOT random and may have involved a drug deal. No arrests have been made.
