Police in Sunnyside Identify Murder Victim

Sunnyside Police have identified a man found shot dead in the city's Kiwanis Park last Wednesday. The victim of the shooting is 34-year-old Gary Lewis. An autopsy is set for Monday at 10 a.m. after the man's body was found at about 11 p.m. last Wednesday by police in the city park. Police say the shooting was gang-related and an investigation continues today.

It was the third homicide in Sunnyside this month. Sunnyside Police are taking action to stop the violence by putting out extra patrols to help ease community concern.
