A 23-year-old man was shot during a burglary at a business in Yakima early Monday morning has been identified as Felipe Manual Samano.  Yakima Police say the owner of Farmers Insurance at 30 North 2nd Street entered the business and found the 23-year-old Samano inside. The owner fired shots at the Samano who was injured when a bullet grazed his face and arm. When officers arrived they arrested the suspect and took him to a local hospital for treatment before he was booked into the Yakima County jail.

The owner of the insurance business, Juan Silva, told police he shot the suspected burglar.  He is cooperating with the police investigation.

Semano faces charges of 1st degree burglary and unlawful possession of a firearm in the 1st degree.

Police continue the investigation Today.
