Patriot Prayer Leader Talks to KIT News

This morning on News Talk KIT we spoke with Joey Gibson, founder of The Patriot Prayer organization. Gibson says they are a Christian group, not a far-right organization, that opposes big government and advocates for free speech.

Critics says they are a far-right extremist group that promotes controversy and violence.

Wikipedia points out that Patriot Prayer holds rallies in areas known as centers of liberal politics. Conflict would seem to be a natural outcome. Gibson says they support "freedom, love and peace" with an aim to "liberate the conservatives on the West Coast."

Gibson talked about this past weekend's demonstration in Portland, his legal future and he addresses accusations that he spreads hate.
