For close to 20 years now KIT radio has been an "all in" supporter of the Memorial Foundation, Children's Village and the Children's Miracle Network!  We love the kids, their families and the way the Village was put together to meet the needs and make life easier for all those who need the wide range of services offered by Children's Village.

Passion For The Village is a fundraiser and supporter celebration and over the years we've seen it held inside the Village itself, in giant tents outside and this year, with COVID -19 restrictions, well this year, it will be held at YOUR place because it will sadly be a "to-go" ONLY dinner!

Renee Adams was a guest on KIT's Morning News radio show to explain the details.

You’re invited to our annual Passion for the Village event – benefitting Children’s Village, here in Yakima. Each $60 Zesta catered dinner ticket purchased this year includes an individually packaged meal of delicious Cedar Baked Salmon and Beef Short Ribs along with green beans, roasted red potatoes, and salad. Get your dinner tickets by MIDNIGHT May 1st at Passion for the Village dot org… Or upgrade to a ‘celebration bag’, or ‘Party to Go’ and feed 10 of your friends!

Normally the in person dinner features some great auction items.  I have had the honor of being a guest auctioneer a few times and I can tell you items up for bid are always first rate.  This year’s auction includes incredible items like a Sturgeon excursion, first run up White Pass with the Ski Patrol, and an Oceanside vacation!
Log onto Passion for the Village dot org to see the offerings, register for text and email alerts, then make your bids when the auction goes live on May 19th!
The passion is real and burns as bright as ever! Covid can't keep the kids and their supporters down.  Show your passion for helping kids in Central Washington and get your ticket by Midnight May First!
