Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting reported Tuesday in the 200 block of Main Street in Parker.

DEPUTIES FOUND TWO VICTIMS AT THE SCENE BUT NO SUSPECTS

Deputies were dispatched to the home in Parker at about midnight Tuesday.  A press release from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office says Deputies were told multiple shots were heard, a vehicle was seen leaving the area, and a male was heard yelling.

THE TWO VICTIMS DIDN'T SAY WHY THE SHOTS WERE FIRED

They told Deputies two young men approached the 57-year-old man in the driveway outside the home saying they were there to "serve a hit." A short time later the press release says the two young men drove toward the home while firing shots at the two older men and the home. The 59-year-old man told Deputies that's when he grabbed his pistol and returned fire. The suspect vehicle then fled the area.

THE TWO SUSPECTS EVENTUALLY SHOWED UP AT A TOPPENISH HOSPITAL

Deputies were notified that two young men had arrived at Toppenish Astria Hospital. One was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his thigh before both were arrested on felony assault and drive by shooting charges. One of the suspects was booked into the Yakima County jail the other is being held in the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Facility.

SO WHAT'S THE MOTIVE FOR THE SHOOTING?

The press release says Deputies believe the shooting to be an isolated incident and there is no known active threat to the community. Authorities haven't released a motive in the shooting. The investigation continues today.
