One Person Killed, Another Injured in Head-On Crash

A head on crash near Sunnyside Thursday night left one person dead and another injured. Washington State Patrol troopers say it happened at about 10:22 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-82 1 mile east of Sunnyside. That vehicle struck head-on another vehicle traveling eastbound on I-82.. The person who was driving the wrong direction was killed but hasn't been identified. The other driver has been identified as 21-year-old Leandra Ramirez of Benton City. She was injured and taken to a hospital in Richland. The investigation continues Today.
