On Wednesday Bring 3 Cans Of Food, Get A Free Fair Ticket

Operation Harvest, now in its 36^th year is the biggest single source of donations to local area food banks, which helps provide for the nutrition need of thousands of the valley's children, seniors and families.

The Central Washington State Fair has teamed up with Yakima Rotary Clubs to collect food by asking Fair-goers to bring three (3) non-perishable food items (no glass please) to the Fair entrance on Wednesday, September 25, any time between noon and 4 p.m.

In exchange for the food you'll receive a ticket for free admission to the Fair.

If you miss that opportunity to help the hungry you can drop off donations October 5, 2019 at the Salvation Army located at 9 South 6^th Avenue in Yakima, where teams of Rotarians will be waiting to sort and deliver the food to ten food banks throughout the area. .
