Ever had plastic surgery? Would you consider it or encourage your spouse to get it?  If a person answers yes, does that mean that person is shallow or superficial?  Some critics say yes.  Others say if you can afford it, why not, if it will make you feel better about yourself.

While you wrestle with that, know that the question has been asked and answered by millions of your neighbors!   A brand-new report from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons shows that Americans get the most aesthetic operations with 17.9-percent of the world share.

Your fellow Americans went under the knife for over four-million procedures in 2016. The most popular choices for a little nip and tuck are  -- breast augmentation and liposuction.

We often hear that Brazil is beauty obsessed and the numbers bear that out. Brazil accounts for 10.7-percent of the world’s beauty based plastic surgery while Japan, Italy and Mexico rounding out the top five.
