There was time when an airport never had to worry about a website but that's not the case Today and the Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field has unveiled a new logo and website design. Airport Director Rob Peterson says the rebranding is a direct result of the growth of the airport. He says the new logo is now on the airport website at flyykm.com.
Peterson says since 2013 there's been a 31 percent increase passenger ridership and a lot of growth around at the airport and its properties in recent years. A news release from the airport says the growth includes;

Cub Crafters’ expansion to include a new aircraft completion center.
    McCormick Air Center constructing eight additional hangars for aircraft storage.
    FedEx operating larger aircraft and increased parking to facilitate additional cargo       demands.
    Reno’s on the Runway, the latest restaurant on airport property. It serves pilots and the community.
    Castle Coffee opening this winter to serve the community with a wide variety of beverages.
    Food Facility Engineering rehabilitated the second floor terminal building to create office space.
    Memorial Cornerstone medical facility was constructed at 40th Avenue and Washington Avenue.
    McAllister Museum and Civil Air Patrol constructed a new facility to expand the museum and house emergency response aircraft.

At the newly redesigned website flyykm.com people can book flights, learn about the valley and even information about commercial development around the airport.
