New Courthouse Scrapped for Remodel Instead

The plan to build a new Yakima County courthouse is on hold. Instead county officials have decided to renovate the current courthouse. At a cost of 32 million dollars. A plan that's expected to go before voters sometime next year. The county commissioners decided to put a bond measure before voters to seperate the administrative offices from courts in the building.
