Mt. St. Helens Blew It’s Top 31 Years Ago Today

Do you remember where you were 31 years ago today?...Today is the 31st anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Today the mountain has come alive again. Animals and plants have returned. The blast left 57-dead. The mountain has been relatively quiet since falling back to sleep back in 2008 after a dome-building eruption. Volcanologists say it’s only a matter of time that the mountain will erupt again, perhaps within the next few decades.
