A 34-year-old Moxee man who sold fake airbags over the Internet pleaded guilty Wednesday to trafficking counterfeit goods.

Immigrations and Custom Enforcement said Jason Jordan admitted that he imported counterfeit airbags from China for around two years.

He and his assistant, 31-year-old Salvador Martinez, sold thousands of knockoffs online and earned almost half a million dollars. Prosecutors said they're recommending a jail sentence of 31 months.

Sentencing is scheduled for September.
