Motor Officers Ride Into Yakima This Week For Training
A lot of police officers from throughout the West are expected to be in Yakima Wednesday through Friday for the North American Motor Officers Association annual conference. Yakima Police Lt. Chance Belton tells KIT News officers that ride motorcycles for a living will be riding into Yakima Today. "We have about 105 motor officers coming from 33 different police agencies all coming together for training at the fairgrounds." Belton says all the training starts Wednesday at State Fair Park. A special competition is set for Friday in the parking lot in front of the Yakima County stadium. It's open to the public beginning at 8:00 a.m. Friday.
