Mother Charged With Sex Abuse Involving Daughter

The mother of a juvenile female who police say encouraged her daughter to engage in sex with multiple men in exchange for drugs and money was in court on Tuesday. The 22 charges against 42-year-old Jennifer Stafford include commercial sex abuse of a minor and possession of narcotics. Stafford has been held in the Yakima County jail since her arrest in June. Yakima Police Capt. Jay Seely says during the investigation they found people who had paid Stafford to have sex with her daughter.
10 men were arrested ranging in age from 21-years-old to 77-years-old.
The 10 men have all been in court on numerous charges including Commercial Sex Abuse of a Minor and Rape of Child.
All the suspects are from Yakima County including Stafford who was arraigned on the charges Tuesday in Yakima County Superior Court.
