You need a little adorable in your life. It's Monday, we're still in pandemic level 1 plus, and the confusion of back to school is upon us.
Let us take a lesson from TikTok. There’s a new trend on TikTok in which people pet their cat with a wet toothbrush. Yup. You read that correctly. Let's make a couple of distinctions right off the bat. Not using the same brush with which they will later a)-brush the cat's teeth or b)-brush their own teeth! Glad to clear that up!
Sp, people claim cats love the sensation as it reminds them of getting groomed by their mother’s tongue, and that it instantly makes the animals feel soothed and relaxed.
Who doesn't want a soothed and relaxed cat....or two.
Searching on-line for “cat toothbrush” brings up lots of the videos, most of which seem to show cats looking very happy and relaxed while being groomed with a wet toothbrush. No word from any experts on if this is why a cat might like being brushed with a toothbrush, or not.
Now here's the aforementioned "adorability". KITTENS!
