Yakima's Spaghetti Dinner Mondays at Mama Corie Is a Win-Win for Tired and Busy Parents

Bear with me for this rant before I tell you why the Spaghetti Dinner Mondays at Mama Corie's Kitchen in downtown Yakima (114 Staff Sgt Pendelton Way) is a lifesaver win-win for busy parents like me! I made "One Pot Taco Pasta" the other day because i had been craving it ever since i saw the recipe picture of it on Pinterest about a week ago. I was desperately searching for something to cook so that I can save money instead of eating takeout food every night, because let's face it, that mess is getting ridiculously expensive, amirite!

The cost of fast food has become so outrageous i nearly broke into tears the other day at Wendy's when I had ordered 1 junior bacon cheeseburger, 1 small thing of chili with onions on top, and 1 small order of fries, and they said that would be nine dollars and some change.

I ended up making the One Pot Taco Pasta for $29 because i needed all of the ingredients from the store, so no matter which way I cut it, my wallet is doomed. My kiddo said the pasta meal l had made was "too spicy" for her but on the bright side, she ate every last bite and said it was good!

Next time, maybe I should leave the cooking on Mondays to Mama Corie's Kitchen. I can get Willow a complete spaghetti dinner for $10 and then I won't have to wash any dishes afterward! Supporting their fundraiser event so that they can provide community family activities this summer is a win-win!
