Lower Valley Fire Keeps Firefighters Busy Overnight

The Tule Road fire off of Highway 97 near Granger kept firefighters busy Sunday afternoon and evening.

As of Sunday evening, the fire was estimated at 1,500 acres. Evacuation notices were issued to homeowners in the area.

No word on how the the fire started, and no word yet on whether the fire spread overnight.
