32,207 ballots were returned to the Yakima County Auditors office for the 2017 November General election. This year the number is expected to be much higher. In fact this week before the election the turnout is already at 26 percent. More than 30,000 ballots have already been returned to the auditors office.  Auditor Charles Ross says he expects to see a 65 percent turnout for the upcoming 2018 general election.
