The second installment of the popular concert series returns to downtown Yakima Thursday with a local favorite returning to entertain a large, enthusiastic crowd.

Here's what The Village's website has to say about them.

Village (a.k.a. The Village Musicians) is a four-piece band made up of three brothers and a long time friend. They have been performing together for over four years and in that time completed four full album releases and have toured internationally. Things aren't slowing down for the guys either as they have recently recorded a new EP in Hollywood, CA with producer Warren Huart of The Fray, Howie Day, and Aerosmith fame (just to name a few) entitled, "Dear Destiny EP" which has only been released digitally. Warren says of Village:

"The Village Musician's are a genuine band of Brothers. The band features 3 teenage brothers and a best friend, they are the perfect antidote to the slick, soulless music that is spoon fed to the kids of America. Not a Product of Media Moguls, this band of easy going, honest, hardworking musicians all sing, write all their own songs and play all their instruments. A breath of fresh air in an auto tuned nightmare of teenage puppets! The Village Musician's are career artists and they're just beginning their journey, expect greatness from them!"

Downtown Summer Nights is a weekly concert series that happens every Thursday night through August 21 on Fourth Street in Downtown Yakima. It's presented by Stewart Subaru, with music powered by Chinook Fest, children's activities presented by Yakima Maker Space and Yakima Neighborhood Health, and brought to you by the City of Yakima and Townsquare Media.

Food, drinks, and adult beverages are on sale. Merchandise vendors are on site as well. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
