How many coffee stands are there in Yakima?  Should we think of each one as a health oasis?

The Pacific Northwest is the coffee capital of the free world and now there is some new research showing why maybe some who don’t stop at a roadside stand for a cup of joe, probably should!

New research suggests that coffee and tea could help prevent an early death for women with diabetes.

How much difference can one cup make?  During the 11-year study, women with diabetes who had up to one regular cup of coffee a day were 51 percent less likely to die than women who consumed no caffeine.

Sorry fellas, WebMD.com says that men didn't see quite the same benefits that women saw in the new study.
