WHAT IS SUFFS ABOUT?

I saw one person describe SUFFS the Musical as "Hamilton meets Les Misérables, but with American women fighting for the right to vote.

Have you heard of the suffragettes? You know, the ladies who made the 19th Amendment happen in America?

Well, SUFFS the Musical (based on a book written by acclaimed Broadway mover and shaker Shaina Taub), begins in 1913 and ends in 1920, when American women were finally granted the freedom and right to vote in primary, general, and presidential elections.
