5 Candidates of What Could Go in the Old Taco Time Location on Nob Hill
Earlier this week we saw Taco Time getting flattened so there's not even a building left for something to go in, like what happened to the Taco Time on South 1st Street.
Since they tore it own completely, what are they making room for?
Here are few hopeful ideas that could possibly work.

Likely Candidates for 16th and Nob Hill Businesses
Taco John's
Yakima once had a Taco John's with their legendary 2 x $1 tacos on Taco Tuesday. In fact, Taco John's is credited for inventing Taco Tuesday.
I think Yakima would be excited to see a Taco John's back in business in town. Right now the closest Taco John's is in Moses Lake.
Del Taco
Just because Taco Time closed doesn't mean it needs to be another Mexican restaurant. However, Del Taco would be the perfect thing to go in that location. Quick and easy access to some inexpensive tacos and burritos and, of all things, they have some great milkshakes, too.
A Local Coffee Stand
The age-old question, "does Yakima really need another coffee shop?" and the answer may be, "yes!"
Having something that convenient to the college and on that popular intersection of 16th and Nob Hill, it's a little surprising there isn't one there already. It can be local chain or even a new company. Either way, that would be a fantastic location.
A Mini Bakery
Who wouldn't love to see a small, artesian bakery on this corner. Swing in for a quick doughnut or croissant. Sure, they can offer gluten-free options as well. Nice spot for a grab 'n go something-or-other.
Another Extension to Yakima Valley College
Not necessarily what the common folk on their morning commute would want, but many believe that's exactly what's going to happen. The school is always talking about expanding. I'm not exactly sure what class could happen in that corner lot, but another way to get more students to school is always welcome.
