We have some of the best talent right here in the Yakima Valley.

Our music and drama programs are second-to-none, and always have been. The choirs do their choir performances throughout the year, the drama department does their plays throughout the year, but when both combine and do the annual music, it's something many look forward to all school-year long.

This year Eisenhower High School chose to do the classic The Music Man for their annual musical.

it's a cute story of a conman who talks the town into starting a band to buy instruments and uniforms from him, only to have him fall in love with the local piano teacher.

That's an extremely summarized version, but you'll just have to see how it plays out when you watch it live at Ike.

What makes this musical unique for Ike is that it, not only featured our Eisenhower High School students, but also younger kids not quite at Ike, yet, featuring younger students from around Yakima including younger brothers and sisters of Ike students.

If you know The Music Man, it makes sense to have a large group of kids on stage so this way they could make this happen.

And they did and did it beautifully.
