What is the best school in the Yakima Valley?

I mean, the easy answer is the one you went to, obviously. If it wasn't the best you wouldn't have gone there.

And while at all the sports games and pep assemblies with everyone saying, "We're #1! We're #1!"
If everyone was #1, wouldn't that make everyone tied for first place?

U.S. News ranked the schools throughout the country based on graduation rate, college readiness, and enrollment 9-12 to come up with these rankings.

What's the best school in the Yakima Valley

I mean, I'd say they all are, but according to these reports they list East Valley High School as #1 for Yakima Valley.

That's the first one that popped up for our area, anyways.

East Valley may be #1 for our area but for Washington State it comes in #104th place.

It ranked 6,597th place on a national level.

Again, I wouldn't look too much into these as they're just looking at numbers and nothing else.

There is that curiosity factor, though, isn't there?

If you look at the Yakima Metro for best high schools from U.S. News, which we can do, here's the line-up for top 10.

  • East Valley High School
  • Mabton Jr. Sr. High School
  • Highland High School
  • West Valley High School
  • Wapato High School
  • Eisenhower High School
  • Granger High School
  • Naches High School
  • Selah High School
  • Sunnyside High School
  • And if you're wondering about A. C. Davis High School, for some reason it's listed as 'unranked'.

You can see the other schools on this list if you'd like.
