One last rockin’ ‘hurrah!’? Yes... and no. Yes, a final show, at this location! And this particular iteration of the Yakima Avenue music and event venue known as The Chainsaw Cat! Check out the details about what's happening, hopes for the future, and the final show at its ‘Phase One’ location below.

Yakima’s Chainsaw Cat Is Moving

Word started spreading that something was shifting on Yakima Avenue at the 509 location earlier this month when the antique shop in Union Gap, Somewhere In Time – That 70s Shoppe, announced that they would be moving into the location, taking the place of the beloved venue.

On April 23rd, Abiel Hoff from the Chainsaw Cat released a video talking about the venue and its future.

While we wait for more information to drop about the future, we can all send off The Chainsaw Cat (before the big move) with a Melt Yo Face’ show!

Final Show At The Chainsaw Cat's 509 Location

Somnera is opening for Foghorn, and Invicta is headlining The Chainsaw Cat on Saturday, May 2nd. Doors at 7 pm, moshing starts at 8 pm.

The show is all ages, but you need to be 21 with an ID to get into the bar area (more details here).

“We’re hoping we can pack this place out again, a room full of heavy music lovers jumping, moshing, and making this one unforgettable! Bring your friends, bring the energy, and let’s send this place off the right way!” – Seth Rising of Somnera.
