I spotted a lost basketball in the middle of the street. And it got me thinking about that subject a lot more than it should have.

Lost Basketball Looking For Its Forever Play Pal in Yakima

Have you ever seen something and wondered, how did it get there? Whether it’s a co-worker or boss, or a random basketball in the street in front of a bar and a coffee shop. No schools or areas that kids would be close to, just a random basketball there for no reason.

No children near it, none appeared to be looking for it. Just a ball resting there in the street gutter, taking a break, counting its blessings while avoiding death by vehicular ball-icide.

Weird Questions About The Random Basketball

How did this ball get there? Did a person’s arm get tired, and they decided to just say screw it? Was it a drive-by extreme dribbling stunt that went wrong? Was it just excited for the return of the Yakima Sunkings next year, and wanted to get to the SunDome? Did the ball escape something heinous? Or did the ball get bored and decide to go on its own adventure?
