Attention geeky, nerdy, and fandom friends who enjoy gaming and collecting in the Yakima Valley. I stumbled upon a couple of new (at least new to me) spots in the lower valley that I want to see succeed, because in our community, it’s a great time to be nerdy.

A Growing Group Of Nerdy Stores!

Yakima and the greater Yakima Valley are in no short supply of great stores to get your hobby on!

In a world where there are so many different interests and people collecting a wide range of things, it can seem overwhelming to know where to start. Luckily with stores like:

  • Ron’s Coin & Collectables
  • 1Up Games
  • Geetaku Market
  • Yakomix
  • Kyros Cards
  • Northtown Card Vault
  • Central City Comics (in Ellensburg)
  • Last Stand Collectibles
  • Elite Gaming Gear,
  • Somewhere in Time (That ‘70s Shop)
  • 509 Retro
  • Appletown Game & Hobby

And more that I can’t remember, I apologize, we are in no short supply of places to get started or to continue building a collection or hobby.

That being said, I don’t get down to Toppenish too often, but that will have to change now that these two stores have come to my attention (keep scrolling for lots of photos from each store).

Victory Road Games (216 W 1st Ave, located under the Boost Mobile Sign)

Started off as a little card and hobby shop but has grown into selling video games. From Pokémon, Digimon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Battletech, Gundam, to Funkos and retro gaming!

Ok Collectibles & Hobbies (3A S. Toppenish Ave)

I really loved, because of my love for comic books. But they offered so much more than that. Retro gaming, lots of figures, and collectible statues. Clothing and hats, DVDs, VHS, and cards.
