Less than 2 months until the big day many of us have been waiting for since last Christmas!

But it takes a lot of support to make a joyous holiday season a success for as many people as possible.

A lot of Santa’s helpers, if you will.

That’s where the Salvation Army of Yakima Valley comes into play and, just as important, their Red Kettle campaign.

You know the Red Kettle campaign! Those generous individuals who ring a bell, standing by a red kettle, accepting donations in front of stores and businesses.

Those donations can make a world of difference to families right here in the valley!

Before the fundraising season kicks off in full, The Salvation Army of Yakima Valley is hosting a fun-filled evening at the YVC Conference Center (1704 West Nob Hill Blvd) for their Red Kettle Kick-Off!

The Salvation Army serves others 365 days a year, right here in our community & we are committed to food security for youth and their families, adult & senior programs, and a safe place for youth during after-school hours. – Lisa Hunter Sargent, The Salvation Army Yakima.

The Red Kettle Kick-Off will happen on Friday, October 25th at 6 pm with food prepared by “The Fat Pastor” Shawn Niles and his son, MasterChef Junior Semi-Finalist Asher Niles!
