OREO Flavored Coca-Cola! The Mash-Up Yakima Needed?

As I mentioned in my review of "Coke-Flavored OREO" cookies, I've been on the lookout for these for a while.

They finally arrived in Yakima, so I did what I do moderately well. I tried them and reviewed them.

Now, full disclosure: I'm not a Coca-Cola fan. I enjoy Dr. Pepper, and if a restaurant serves only Coke products, I usually have a Sprite, so I might be biased with this review, but you'll find out.

Taste Test of OREO-Flavored Coca-Cola Soda

The drink was weird. I was expecting something like a chocolate soda that I've had down south.

I did taste a bit of a chocolate aftertaste, but it was more of a dark chocolate and heavy on the carbonation.

The aftertaste was a bit of a chocolate root beer. Maybe it was the sugar-free part, but by the time I was at the end of the mini can, it just tasted like a fountain drink when there's not enough syrup.

2nd Opinion Taste Test of OREO-Flavored Coca-Cola Soda

Just like with the cookies, my best friend of 27+ years, Eugene, helped me out.

He got more of a chocolate taste than I did. Not much of a smell, and as soon as the sweetness wore off (which was fast), he was left with a bitter carbonated aftertaste.

No 3rd Opinion because my wife doesn't drink soda. It's her loss; it's more weird soda for me!

Future Reviews / Experiments Of Coke / OREO Mash-Up!

This soda was good to try, but I won't be purchasing it any time in the future. In fact, out of the 10 cans, I still have 7 left. Why are 3 used when there were only 2 of us reviewing?

That is because we decided to try them BOTH at the SAME TIME, and yes, I dunked the OREO in the Coke! That cookie & Coke experiment is HERE!
