The 46th Annual Toy Run This Weekend in Yakima!
The Yakima Salvation Army has been in the news lately with several updates on the organization, store, and events.
From the Red Kettle Kick-off with the 'Fat Pastor' Shawn Niles to the upcoming changes in the Yakima Salvation Army stores, some big things are happening with the Yakima Salvation Army!
But let's not forget about the fun and festive Toy Run that is coming up!
That's right, the 46th Annual Toy Run for the Salvation Army and Toys For Tots is revving its engines and is about to take off!
"Yakima Bikers have supported The Salvation Army's Toy run since 1978. Let's make it a merry Christmas for the children in our valley by donating a new, unwrapped toy." – Salvation Army Yakima
Get your ride ready and your toy sack open for the season of giving!
The Toy run kicks off this Saturday, November 2ndat the Safeway Parking lot located at 16th Ave. and Lincoln Ave.
Kickstands up, and the ride kicks off at 1 pm, but show up early for Soup and coffee from 11 am to 12:30 pm, and of course, great comradery and conversation with an amazing community.
The 46th Annual Troy Run is presented by Yakima Valley Abate, The Salvation Army, and the amazing bikers of Yakima Valley!
Bring your new, unwrapped toy to the event for donation, and if you're already in the hustle and bustle of the season and don't have time to hit the store to buy a new toy, no worries. Cash is king!
