You Won’t Believe Which PNW Diner Made America’s Top 10 List
There's something timeless about a great American diner. The vinyl booths, bottomless coffee, and the smell of bacon on the grill early in the morning all add to the experience. Diners have always been more than just places to eat. For many communities, they're gathering spots. For others, they've become true cultural institutions.

Sunliner Diner in Gulf Shores, Alabama, takes the top spot. It has 28,555 Google reviews and a near-perfect 4.8-star rating, the highest number of reviews in the study. Sunliner has built a loyal following among locals and visitors. Its 1950s-themed decor, nostalgic gift shop, and menu of classic comfort foods and all-day breakfast make it a real destination.
Blueberry Hill in Las Vegas comes in at number two. It led the social media category with more than 37,000 Instagram posts and over 2,400 TikTok mentions, creating more buzz than any other diner on the list.
The rest of the top ten includes Marietta Diner in Georgia; the famous Ellen's Stardust Diner in New York City; Diner 24 in New York City; Little Goat Diner in Chicago; Becky's Diner in Portland, Maine; Lou's Diner in Las Vegas; and Diner 50 in Phoenix.
The Pacific Northwest's Only Diner to Make the Cut
One standout spot for Washington residents is Frank's Diner in Spokane, which ranks number ten. It's the only Pacific Northwest restaurant on the list. If you haven't driven east for breakfast yet, this might be your sign to go. Frank's Diner has two locations, each housed in classic luxury cabooses from the early 1900s. One is in North Spokane, not far from Whitworth University, and the other is just west of Downtown Spokane, a few blocks from the I-90 onramp.
If you're planning a cross-country trip or just want a new weekend adventure, this list is a great place to start.
