The Grand Columbia Council of the Boy Scouts of America is saying thanks today to the generous folks at New York Life which presented the scouts with a $25-thousand dollar Community Impact Grant.

The money will help with camp expansion and ultimately help with low income kids ability to join the scouts.

Scout Executive Barry McDonald says, "without the support from New York Life, we wouldn't be able to build the financial stability we need to serve Central Washington's youth."
