
If You Love a Marching Band You’ll Want to Be in Yakima Saturday
If you love the sound of a marching band you'll want to be at Yakima's Zaepfel Stadium on Saturday for the 22nd annual Harvest Marching Band Festival. The event at Zaepfel Stadium at Eisenhower High School starts at 8:15 Saturday morning.
THAT'S A LOT OF HORNS BLOWING ON SATURDAY PLUS DANCE TEAMS
23 bands from Washington and Oregon will be competing. That means hundreds of musicians representing high school marching bands from the Pacific Northwest. Each band will perform a 10-minute show including wind and percussion musicians, flag teams, rifle squads and dance teams.

LOCAL BANDS WILL BE PLAYING AT SPECIFIC TIMES
If you'd like to see local marching bands you'll want to be there beginning at 9:15 am that's when the Naches Valley High School band will perform followed by Sunnyside High School at 9:30 am, Highland High School at 11 a.m. and West Valley High School will perform at 12:45 p.m.
OTHER EXHIBITION PERFORMANCES WILL BE HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON
You can watch exhibition performances starting at 3:00 pm by A.C. Davis High School and Eisenhower High School at 8:15 p.m. The top bands advance to the finals which are set for 4:45 to 8:00 pm. If you'd like to attend the finals the cost is $10.
The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
