Id Theft and Prescription Event Held Saturday

Crime Stoppers of Yakima County is holding its annual Identity Theft Awareness Shred Event and Take Back Your Prescription Meds Day on Saturday in Yakima and Sunnyside. People can bring old paperwork such as tax forms or unused and outdated prescriptions to the event where they will be shredded and destroyed. The event will happen Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Solarity Credit Union on North 5th Avenue in Yakima and Sunnyside Justice Center on Homer Street in Sunnyside.
