More than 200 people gathered in downtown Yakima Monday for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. March. The march started at 5th Avenue and MLK Jr. Blvd. with many people carrying signs saying that read "I have a Dream". Officials from the Yakima YWCA were also involved in the march along with many women who stay at the YWCA shelter.

Marchers walked through the downtown area to the nearby Yakima Convention Center for a community program.  Many people in the crowd say they participate every year and hope that someday racism is no longer something that divides Yakima or the country.
