Huge Fire at Pallet Plant Lights Up Sky in Gleed

A fire at a pallet factory in Gleed sent flames into the night sky Wednesday as crews from several Yakima County agencies joined the battle.

Few details were available late Wednesday evening, but witnesses said the fire at  Yakima Pallet and Bin was significant and that the Gleed Volunteer Fire Department was the first on the scene.

The blaze was reported before 11 p.m. We'll update the story as we learn more.
