Home Brewers Getting a Hopping Hand from Local Business

As a community known for its hops, Yakima has not made it easy for home brewers to get their hands on some hops of their own. Yakima Hops and Brew Supply on North First Avenue just opened its doors. KIMA Action News reports the business sells brewing equipment and more than 40 varieties of hops. The owners say it is something this community has wanted for a long time.

"There is a huge niche for home brewers to come down and look at all the different varieties we carry," said owner John Snyder.

Yakima Hops and Brew Supply says it will continue to expand with more products and supplies. The business also plans to be an educational tool for brewers by holding classes and demonstrations.
