It's a season of crankiness as Christmas is almost here. A new study says once sales for Black Friday start retail workers are preparing for a tough season ahead for them. It's a time they say they have to meet impatient shoppers.

In fact according to the team at scheduling software Deputy who surveyed 500+ retail employees and 2000+ consumers across the nation Washington State has the least patient holiday shoppers.

WHAT STATE IS THE MOST PATIENT? AND WHAT'S YOUR BUDGET?

According to the information from Deputy:

A lot of residents in the state, 63% say they consider themselves more patient when shopping for Christmas. That's a low percentage when compared to the most patient state, Minnesota at 85%. So what's your Christmas budget? On average in Washington State it's $910.

STORES GET CRAZY BUSY DURING THE HOLIDAYS BY HOW MUCH?

On the national side the study says retail employees say they see an 84% increase in customers during the Christmas season with the average employee experiencing a 16.6% decrease in enjoying their jobs during the holidays.

It gets busy but the study found a low 29% of employees feel like their company is prepared to meet the rush.

WHILE THEY PUT UP WITH A LOT THEY MAKE MORE MONEY

Employees make an average of $220.66 per week in more work and overtime pay. Companies are simply asking that you bring your patience when you go shopping this Christmas season.
