Hillsboro Is Looking At The Yakima Bears
It is no secret that the Yakima Bears are looking for a new home after the Yakima County Stadium contract ends in 2015. Now the city of Hillsboro, Oregon, is considering a stadium for Single-A baseball. It would be a 4,500-seat stadium with much of the infrastructure already in place. The Oregonian reports that the $14 million price tag would be covered with city-backed bonds. The Yakima City Council will consider the plan next week.
