Hey Yakima You Can Fill The Tank With The Cheapest Gas in WA
A short drive to Wapato and you'll be pumping the cheapest gas in the state today.
Average gasoline prices in Yakima are down 9.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.73 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 91 stations in Yakima.
HOW ABOUT PUMPING A PRICE ONLY THOSE OF US WHO LIVE NEARBY?
The national average price of diesel has fallen 5.6 cents in the last week and stands at $3.90 per gallon. The cheapest gas in the state is available in Wapato selling for $3.22 a gallon. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.03 per gallon today.
WELL YOU'RE NOT DRIVING AS MUCH SO PRICES ARE DROPPING
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy says sluggish demand for gas has lead to lower prices on the national side. He says we could see the national price drop under $3 per gallon for the first time since 2021.
COULD WE SEE GAS UNDER $3 A GALLON ON THE NATIONAL SIDE?
"In addition, refinery issues in California have also eased, which will soon cause prices to decline in California, Nevada and Arizona, providing momentum for a possible run at a $2.99 national average. However, the better it gets now, the more bumpy and sharp the rise could be ahead of the spring, as prices could start their rise of 35-85 cents per gallon around mid-February."
