Health Officials Open New Testing Site in Yakima

COVID-19 testing continues in the Yakima Valley. On Thursday Yakima Health District officials announced a new community testing site at Yakima's State Fair Park/Sundome that will be open October 27 and remain open until the end of the year. The site will be open Tuesday - Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. except on Thursdays when the site will open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Results will be notified by phone within 24-72 hours.
Health officials say they hope to test upwards of 500 people a day at the drive-up site.
Masks are required at the site in which people are tested while sitting in their vehicle.
Anyone who is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, has been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, or is otherwise concerned about a potential exposure, should get tested for COVID-19.
